To prepare the Yarn Ball for the trip, the Yarn Ball was secured in the
back of James' truck. We soon found out that it was not secured very
well.

Arriving at Big Lots, we all felt it necessary to photograph the Big Lots' sign.
Here it is for all of you who take a liking to such things.

Once inside the store, we went straight to the yarn section. It did not take
long for us to completely fill a cart.

Big Lots was apparently unprepared for our visit that night. We soon had all
of their cheapest priced yarn in the cart. Thanks to this man, Mike Welsh
(the store manager), we were able to purchase slightly better quality yarn
at the same cheap price! He is also a donator!

Pictured here is the hardworking cashier who checked out the nearly 27 pounds
of yarn. She also gave a generous donation to the
Yarn Ball. Thank you Crystal Larcher!

Posing with the Yarn Ball are two Big Lots staff members. They were quite
impressed with the Yarn Ball's incredible size.

Preparing for the ride home, James and Martin work to secure the yarn in the
back of James' truck. This time, we decided the Yarn Ball deserved to ride in
the cab.
